We are Arya and Alec Germanwala. We would love to share our vision of helping others in our school district. Simple Bare Necessities is a nonprofit organization that we created with the goal of providing personal hygiene products to children in need in the Longview Independent School District to ensure a sense of security dignity and self-worth.
In our district, More than 80% of children are economically disadvantaged receiving a free or reduced lunch. Though many of these children receive government aid, it does not allow for the purchase of personal hygiene products. Simple Bare Necessities’ mission is to close that gap and boldly take the initiative to eliminate the unneeded inequities in our community to empower all students to prosper in a safe and healthy environment.
